Honey Creek Kennels

This agreement is made between Honey Creek Kennels (Breeder), hereafter referred to as “Seller” and _________________________, hereafter referred to as “Purchaser.

In consideration of a purchase price of one puppy for $____________ the seller transfers all rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the male/female English Pointer as of the date specified below. Paperwork necessary for a FULL registration with the Field Dog Stud Book is included in the purchase price.

Seller guarantees to original Purchaser, the dog specified above to be free of all genetic diseases of the hips, elbows, and eyes for 24 months after whelping date of the dog.

In the event of emergence of any above conditions, diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian by the Purchaser, on or before _______________, Purchaser shall immediately notify Seller of such conditions and diagnosis. Seller shall offer a pick of an existing litter or a pick of a future litter subject to the following:

1. Seller, at his option, may require the Purchase to forward all medical records, x-rays, and other information relied upon for the diagnosis to Seller for a secondary opinion from a licensed veterinarian. Seller also has the option, at his expense, to require the dog be examined by a licensed veterinarian. Expenses for the initial diagnosis and shipping of all records, x-rays, and other information relied upon for thee diagnosis are the responsibility of the Purchaser. Seller shall return all medical records to Purchaser at Sellers expense. An expense for transport of the dog and from a second examination is the responsibility of the Seller.

2. In the event both veterinarians arrive at the same diagnosis a pick of an existing or future litter will be offered by the Seller to the Purchaser.

3. Seller shall not accept a return of any dog for any reason including genetic diseases. Purchaser is responsible for the above mentioned dog.

4. In the event there is differing diagnosis Purchaser may request a third examination by a licensed veterinarian agreeable to the Seller. All expenses with this third examination and diagnosis shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser. The diagnosis resulting from this third examination will be binding.

5. Purchaser agrees to provide proof that the dog has been spayed/neutered prior to Seller offering a pick of an existing or a future litter.

6. Purchaser agrees that no Field Dog Stud Book registration will be given to any offspring or dog whelped after the date of initial diagnosis.

7. Dog must be registered to original Purchaser at time of diagnosis.

8. Dog must be 24 months or younger and any female dogs having whelped a litter prior to 24 months are void from this binding agreement.
